Moving into or within the Diocese.

If you move within or to the Diocese you need to inform us and please follow the process below:

i)    You should have settled into your new congregation, normally we think in terms of 6 months attendance; but there may be circumstances, e.g. when an LLM is the spouse of the new incumbent, where a shorter time is appropriate.
ii)    Consult with your Area Adviser about the process and they will help you with the next steps.
iii)    Show your licensing has the support of the incumbent and PCC(’s) by passing a resolution at the PCC.
iv)    Develop a ministry agreement with your new incumbent.
v)    Be aware we will ask your previous Diocese if you were in good standing with them.
vi)    Have a fresh CRB.

Be aware it is up to your Area Bishop to say, if he is willing to licence you to that parish.
